Test new versions before they sail

AppSail is in the App Store and on Google Play. Testers get each new version a few days earlier, try the new features and tell us what doesn't work, before it reaches every sailor.

Who it's for

  • Sailors who like to see new features first.
  • People who don't mind a bug now and then, and will tell us about it.
  • iPhone or Android, anywhere in the world.

What you do

  • Use the test version like the normal app: map, requests, places, chat.
  • Something looks wrong? Write to support@appsail.eu, ideally with a screenshot.
  • No forms, no fixed schedule. You can leave the test any time.

Honestly: a test version can have bugs. It is the real app with real sailors, not a sandbox. Requests, places and messages you post are seen by everyone nearby, so please don't post test content.

How to join

Pick your phone

iPhone

TestFlight

  1. Send an email to support@appsail.eu asking to join the iOS tests. Include the email address of your Apple ID.
  2. You'll get an invitation to TestFlight by email.
  3. Install TestFlight from the App Store, open the invitation and tap Accept, then Install.

Android

Google Play testing

  1. Send an email to support@appsail.eu. Include the Google account you are signed in with in the Play Store on your phone.
  2. You'll get an opt-in link. Open it and tap Become a tester.
  3. Install or update AppSail from Google Play. The test version arrives as a normal update.

The Google account must be the same one that is signed in to the Play Store on your phone. With another account the test version won't show up.
